Learning From Oral Histories

A Collection of Coney Islanders' Stories

With our program partners at the Coney Island Beautification Project long-standing Coney Island residents were recruited to be interviewed by RiSC students. The goal was to create an inter-generational learning opportunity for students to hear local residents stories and learn more about the history, culture and community of Coney Island as it relates to changes in weather, climate and gentrification.
